Children's Work
During the school year we run different clubs and activities for children of all ages, catering for different needs. We provide pre school, school and afterschool support for children and parents in the local community. We are a Christian community centre and church and we seek to share the love of Jesus in all the projects that we run.
Pre School ClubsOn Monday and Thursday mornings we turn the large sports hall into a fun and dynamic play environment for under 5s. The Club Kids Group is a thriving and well-equipped parent and toddler drop-in which runs from 10-11.45am. It is known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and provides a much-needed resource for the local community. Parents and carers can register their child on arrival. Please contact Debbie or Hazel at the Clubhouse on 020 7255 9755, or email us at childrenswork@clubhousew1.org for more information. This term we will be starting our new Toddler Football programme, Club Kicks which will run on a Friday morning from 10-11am. This club is open to children from 18 months - 3 years old. There are 25 spaces which are available on a first come first serve basis. The cost of each session will be £1 and as a parent toddler group, Club Kicks requires parent/carer interaction and supervision.

Our Christmas party ends the calender year on 16th December 2011 and Fun in the Park is a week special fun in the park which finishes off the school year in July. Throughout the holidays we also run Easter Club in April 2012 which follows the Easter story in the Bible. We learn through games, craft, fun and activities over a week. We run Football Holiday Club on the first week of the school summer holidays, July 2012 when for a whole week we develop our football skills and participate in our very own World Cup over in Regent's Park.
We try to take children from the community twice a year on weekend residential trips; early October and late March. If your child would like to attend one of these trips or any of the activities listed above please contact Debbie at the Clubhouse on 020 7255 9755, or email us at childrenswork@clubhousew1.org for more information.
If you would like to volunteer at any of the clubs we run here at the Clubhouse please email Debbie at childrenswork@clubhousew1.org for a job description and application form. All volunteers are required to have CRB clearance. |
